Dr. J. Scott Williamson received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/Biology from the University of New Brunswick in 1985, followed in 1989, by his Doctor of Medicine from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario. A rotating Internship at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta completed Dr. Williamson’s basic medical training.

Resident training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was at the University of British Columbia from 1990 – 1995. He obtained the highest standing in Canada when he completed his specialty exams with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Following this, Dr. Williamson continued with advanced fellowship training at the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

In 1997, Dr. Williamson entered practice in Kelowna, joining the medical community as a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. His surgical skills have earned him the respect of his colleagues and co–workers. Dr. Williamson enjoys a varied Plastic Surgical practice which includes the full range of Cosmetic Aesthetic surgical procedures.

Dr. Williamson is a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and he is also a Fellow of the American Board of Plastic Surgeons having met the requirements for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
